Research into Movement of Matter – a Loop Video

controlled variables: 14 stacked earth-slabs, a plint, a wall, horizontal viewpoint, an inside area, 3 days

independent variable: atmosphere

dependent variable: is there movement in the earth-slabs?

To record any possible proof of movement, one photo per minute is taken for 3 days. Observing the video the matter turned out to be stable. The in reality motionless main objects became instead set in a playground of unexpected subtle adventures at the same time diffusing and/or confusing the mind.

Dimensions: 52cm h x 52cm w x 52cm d / Materials used: mild steel, clay, Van Eyck Academie Maastricht foundation dust captured in epoxy / Year made: 2018
